New Year Resolution

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERONE!

Wanted to post this on the 1st but was kinda busy doing report + sleeping.

1) Get fitter [Should be easy with NS]
2) Get rich [A little saving from the money i got from NS and allowance will do just fine]
3) Be more wary of what i'm spending [Tend to spend as i please ended up spending unnecessary]
4) To go on a holiday with my friends [Best is to save money and go only holiday before NS]
5) Do some work while waiting for NS to come [Tons of time just see if i wanna, hope i get good job lobang thou]
6) Can't think of anymore. Will update when i remember/think of.

There are always 2008 wishes
-Get into police for NS!
-Strike Group 3 and above TOTO lottery

Drove to school today.

Journey to the West
Woke up late. Prepare everything wait for mum to come back then left house. Well yes of course i was nervous but lucky i did some homework at streedirectory so it was kinda okay when i know i'm on the right track. Confirming if i was on the right track was the hard part. Went from ECP->AYE->Clementi Road/Ave exit. When i was doing my homework was suppose to exit at Buona Vista but somehow i feel like trying Clementi one because I ask my father before and he mention that it will get me to SP too.Drive pass the entrance through T1 thinking that there is another entrance at the front unfortunately there isn't. So made a U-turn. After finishing parking at T12 area then i remember we have shifted to T10 should have drive in through the entrance i see early "This way to food heaven". So yea, reach home in 1 piece.

Journey around the West [Part 1]
Went to Holland Village for lunch. It was a okay ride just make 1 or 2 wrong turns and one of it is kinda funny. Wilson pointed to the left and said "ya ya here, drive straight" Was kinda messy in the car with everyone talking since none of us is very sure of the way so i took the left turn.

P.S-> Paiseh Wendy & Suah didn't know you guys were in school so didn't ask you all.

Content:Dover -> West Coast -> Clementi -> Bukit Batok -> Bukit Timah[Many more stops in between couldn't remember properly]

This is not the first time he gave direction like "turn right here" and its a 1 way road. "OH!! I know here! In front turn right, my brother always turn right in front then reach liao"

I wonder whats the accident rate that fall under the category "Accident cause by passenger"

Nevertheless, we arrive at Bukit Timah in ONE piece. Thanks to the skillful driving by the driver definitely no credits to the flawed-direction-giving.

The food there was pretty not bad. To those Westsider when you come to the East you can try the food at Bedok 85. Wide range of variety. The signature dish of the place must be the debate-able minced meat/ball noodle. The original minced meat/ball noodle is soup or dry? =O

Journey around the West [Part 3]
We spend half an hour looking at street directory at the market to see how to get to JL/ZJ/Wil's house. Other than JL's flawed direction JL/ZJ house was quite easy to go.
The highlight for this trip is "Oh ya, just now there you should turn right" When the junction is behind already. Plan was made to get to wil's house but apparently can't find the exit. With some assistance from my father. Made it to Wil house with no mistake.

Journey to the East
Sucks. Wil don't know where is the nearest expressway so have no choice but to go to Orchard -> Marina Square -> ECP -> Home. Pass by 2 ERP gantry on the way. Eww.

THE END

It was quite a lesson learnt today. Driving is nice. Convenient. Being driving alot lately. But parking is still not that good. Best of all i don't need to feed the car!

SIAN! CSM HAVE NOT TOUCH! ICD still far from completed. Tomorrow still need do FYP. Tire. Blah. How to do well and finish on time. GOSH.

My Saturday

Today drive to town with my friends in 2 car. It was really fun! I find that my driving has improve alot. Drive almost like normal driver on the road now but the P plate always make the rest bully me on road. Parking is still quite bad but at least i can park on my own just take a few more in and out before its set.
Anyway today went to cineleisure to catch the Golden Compass(bad show) at the same time support my friends who open their store at the LIME flea market. Business was not bad i guess for 2nd hand clothing. They earn about $300+ in total. They brought like 4 5 luggage there but still alot wasn't sold.
After helping them pack up around 8, then we went to Changi Village for dinner. Its really quite fun to have 2 car driving around. Quite cool. =D

Anyway this whole week is damn sinful. FAT! I really think i gain quite abit this week. It all started...
Sunday: Had late dinner eat till damn full go home bath then sleep.
Monday: Took nap then have late dinner again. Awhile later sleep.
Tuesday: Pasir Ris got pasar malan. Buy alot snack to eat + dinner = BLOATED
Wednesday: Same thing! Pasar malan + dinner = BLOATED
Thursday: Wendy's birthday, buffet. BLOATED^2
Friday: Friend's birthday, birthday cakes + food. GOSH
Saturday: Late SUPER FULL dinner.

How to lose weight like that. Next week must really watch what i eat liao.

GOD the rest are so near to completion of their ICD assignment. I still got so much to do and keep facing error. OH NO! Tomorrow better do some. If not sure die.

Random post

Nothing specific to post about. Just bored and feel like blabbering here. November was pretty hectics for me filled with so many events. But December is filled with so many deadlines.

ICD: Gosh so many have almost completed or doing alot for it. I'm still slacking here with almost nothing.
NM: Got a report to hand in and i still have not much of a idea of whats really going on. Sure need to go free access to complete it already.
CSM: Nothing much now but can imagine the rush i gonna face when we start doing the 1k words report.
TNP: Presentation to give next week. Haven't done the slide yet.
FYP: Poster design, final report, final video clip.

But sadly with all these deadline drawing near. It also means i'm graduating soon. =( Well its good i graduated at last. But that also means i'm gonna miss you guys alot. =/ PS. Wilson the most =D

Other than all these. $$$!! really lack of money lately. Hand super tight! Anyway want to donate some to me?

Happy birthday to Wendy whose birthday is tomorrow but we celebrated with her yesterday. Happy 2*th birthday!

And wee lun! who most probably won't see this blog but happy birthday to you and good luck to your TP tomorrow. Buddy for 7 years and counting.

Wilson and JL is having their medical checkups now. Hope they don't have any 'accidents'.

Medical Checkup

Had my NS medical checkup today.
Time:8.30am
Duration: 3 hour(If you don't get stuck at IQ test)

Just giving a little what to expect for those who have not went for it. The duration of it ranges from 3-4 hour like what the letter say. The variating 1 would be the last section, IQ test. Many people with little computer. So imagine you waiting for 45min-1 hour waiting for people to complete it so you can start doing. For those anyhow do one it can take maybe like 30mins.

Some brief description of the stages.

1. Photo taking
Nothing much just changing into the army uniform tops and have a photo shoot. For those worrying about hair length, not much of a worry if your hair is long at the back not much of a worry for those at the front theres "stylist" there ready for you with his equipment. This stage is FAST.

2. Urine Test/Blood Test
Urine test is like the 1 we had for poly checkup lor. Just need to dip your urine on a strip.
FISH! the most &@#^!@*^$ of the checkup and also the most worried part of the checkup before i go. The first part was prick on your finger for some test. Won't go too detail on this let you all have some WOW factor when you're there. A little pain there but the pain is there for the next half an hour.

BLOOD TEST. Gosh if you're normal good for you 1 test tube. If you have:
-Hep B [like me =( ]
-High Blood Pressure
-Others too not too sure. I guess anything that your blood can be tested for your illness
another test tube for you. Eww after the stealing of my blood almost fainted. Lucky didn't kay kiang and start walking around. Got some glucose water and abit of rest everything went back to normal. A few fainted lol. Pretty funny =x Theres this indian TALL guy fainted and smack on the floor and LOUD lucky it was carpet floor. Surprisingly. Almost 0 pain here. Just may be a little eww to see your dark red blood being stolen.

3. Hearing test
Nothing much. If you hear something raise your hand.

4. X ray
Similar to the 1 for medical checkup

5. Dentist
No worries. Just some simple VIEWING no touching of your teeth.

6. ECG
3 part here. This is where you will be half-naked. 1st 1 is getting equipment on you to test your heart beat. Very simple and relax 1. Just pray that you're not 1 of those whose heart beat too fast. Or they will give you a blanket and test again, if you're skinny they will apply some glue-like things on you and test again. If still yours is too fast then cya again! My friend's friend went total of 3 time to test it and pending. 2nd part is height and weight. 3rd is just testing of your blood pressure.

7. Medical Checkup
This is the part where ERM ERM happen. I think all the guys know what is it. Anyway its nothing compared to what people have describe. Here is where they grade your PES also. Without any sickness A is easy to get.

8. IQ Test
Long test.

Thats all. Hope i didn't miss up any section. GOOD LUCK! Like one of the officer from blood test said "You can die from dragonboat but you won't die from this!"
